Kalki Koechlin had married filmmaker Anurag Kashyap in 2011 and divorced him four years later in 2015. The Made In Heaven actress started dating Guy Hershberg later and the couple welcomed their daughter Sappho in 2020. In a recent interview, Kalki opened up on her equation with her ex-husband Anurag.

Talking to India Today, the Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actress said, “I’m very much at ease now (with Anurag). We’ve been through so much together, and so much apart. We’ve reached a place of peace between us.” Kashyap had directed Kalki in Dev.D, his modern-day adaptation of Devdas in which Abhay Deol and Kalki’s characters were based on Devdas and Chandramukhi.

The Bombay Velvet director is the presenter of Kalki’s next film Goldfish. Also starring Deepti Naval and Rajit Kapur, the emotional drama film is set to release in theatres on September 1 after being screened in multiple international film festivals. While speaking to the media portal, Kalki also shared how Anurag came on board for Goldfish.
“He wasn’t involved in this film (Goldfish) till it was screened at Busan (International Film Festival). He saw the film in Busan, loved it, and was really supportive about it. And we’re really glad to have him on board. So yeah, we’re good now”, the Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara actress said.

Kalki had recently attended the engagement ceremony of Aaliyah Kashyap, Anurag’s daughter with his first wife Aarti Bajaj. Talking about Aaliyah, the actress said, “Aaliyah is very cute with my daughter. They really have kind of a playful thing. So basically, my daughter thinks Aaliyah is a real princess. So she’s in awe of her. It’s good to have one more babysitter around.”
