Raju

SVC
banner,
who
bankrolled
this
film,
successfully
closed
a

digital
streaming
business
of
The
Family
Star.

sold

rights
to
OTT
giant
Amazon
Prime
Video
for
a
great
money.
Contrary

what

earlier
reported,
that
Family
Star
movie
will
start
streaming
from
May
3,
this
Vijay
Deveraoknda’s
film
is
making
an
early
debut
on
the
platform.
The
movie
will
start
streaming
on
April
26.

Distributors
have
invested
so
much
in
the
film’s
theatrical
rights
and
following
the
opening
weekend,
which
ran
mostly
with
advance
bookings,
the
movie
fell
flat
at
the
box
office.
There
were
festivals
like
Ugadi,
Srirama
Navami,
and
Ramzan
coupled
with
the
summer
vacation,
which
couldn’t
help
Vijay
Deverakonda
and
Dil
Raju’s
film.

Once
the
movie
earned
negative
feedback,
most
of
the
movie-going
enthusiasts
refrained
from
watching
it
on
the
big
screen,
waiting
for
the
OTT
release.

cover
the
costs,
makers
are
said
to
have
revised
their
OTT
agreement
for
The
Family
Star,
to
make
some
more
benefit
from
the
early
release,
