The Redmi Note 13 5G series, including the Redmi Note 13 Pro, and Redmi Note 13 Pro+, are set to receive Xiaomi’s Android 14 update in India. This means the three handsets will ditch MIUI for Xiaomi’s Android 14 skin, HyperOS.
This announcement comes after the Chinese smartphone giant introduced HyperOS in India in February, aiming to enhance the user experience across its smartphones, smart home devices, and electric vehicles.
Redmi Note 13 Series HyperOS Rollout
The rollout of HyperOS was announced via a post on X (formerly Twitter). Users of the Redmi Note 13 series in India can expect to see the update on their devices soon, although it may take a few days for the rollout to reach all users.
Notably, the Redmi Note 12 series is also in line to receive this update in the future. HyperOS is set to introduce a suite of new features to the Redmi Note 13 5G series. These improvements include customizable lock screens, a revamped control centre, and updated icons and fonts.
