The OnePlus 13 will be the brand’s next flagship, which is expected to launch in the future. Although we are far from the launch, rumours have already started buzzing around the internet.
Last month, it was revealed that the OnePlus 13 could be the world’s first phone to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. Now, a few more details have surfaced online. Here’s what to expect from the next-gen OnePlus 13.
OnePlus 13 Features Tipped
The latest development (via tipster Yogesh Brar) has revealed the OnePlus 13 could feature a micro curved 2K display. It might pack the same 5,400 mAh battery with 100W charging support as the OnePlus 12. Although it’s 100W charging, the company could optimised the power delivery, and we can expect to see slightly faster charge times
The OnePlus 13 is also likely to add an ”Ultra Action” three-stage custom button which will replace the current three-stage alert slider. OnePlus could redesign the camera arrangement for the OnePlus 13, while the phone is speculated to offer the same camera sensors as the OnePlus 12.
Given that, we expect the same Hasselblad cameras from the OnePlus 13 which will include a 50MP Sony LYT-808 primary sensor with OIS, a 48MP Sony IMX581 ultrawide sensor, and a 64MP Omnivision O64B telephoto-periscope sensor with a focal length of 70mm, OIS, and 3x optical zoom.
As mentioned above, the handset will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, which will be coming at the Snapdragon Summit in October 2024. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC is also confirmed to come with Qualcomm’s custom Oryon CPU and an improved NPU performance.
Given the launch of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 in October, we expect the OnePlus 13 might arrive by the end of this year. If the brand follows the same timeline, the device will launch next year in India. However, we suggest our readers take the information with a pinch of salt and stay tuned for more updates on the same.
