Bharti Airtel has introduced new international roaming packs starting at Rs. 133 per day for customers travelling abroad. The new packs will allow users to access to 184 countries. Besides, it enhances data benefits, in-flight connectivity and 24×7 contact centre support.
These international roaming plans will be auto-activated once reach their destination country. Since the new plans cover 184 countries, so, if you are travelling to multiple countries, the same pack will work, you no longer need to subscribe to multiple packs. It comes with an auto-renewal feature which can be accessed via the Airtel Thanks app.
Further, the telecom giant says ” The packs offer greater value with enhanced benefits that are economical when compared to local in-country sims across many countries. The new pack truly redefines our value proposition for customers and gives them the freedom to use data and voice at an affordable tariff.”
Airtel’s cheapest international plan starts at Rs 195 and goes up to Rs. 2998. The Airtel Rs 2998 plan comes with 5GB of data, 20 SMS, and 200 minutes of calling for a validity time of 30 days, while the Airtel Rs 195 in-flight plan has a validity time of 24 hours, offering 250MB of data, 100 minutes of outgoing calls, and 100 outgoing SMS.
If you are looking for a long-term plan, you can go for the Rs 2997 plan that comes with 2GB data, 100 minutes of calling, and 20 SMS with a validity of 365 days. However, for users who are travelling to multiple countries, the newly-launched Rs 133 plan will be beneficial for them. As they do not recharge to multiple packs.
