Shehnaaz Gill and Sidharth Shukla were shooting in Chandigarh a few days back. Soon after hearing about it, Shehnaaz’s father was extremely upset and vowed to never talk to her again. He has now opened up on how he feels about Sidharth and Shehnaaz together.
Shehnaaz Gill’s father Santosh Singh Sukh gave an interview with Times of India in which he spoke about what got him upset in the first place. He also cleared his stand on relationship between Shehnaaz and Sidharth.
“I don’t know why her calls to me started decreasing, even though she kept in touch with her mother. She hasn’t met her grandparents after her stints in Bigg Boss 13 and ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karoge,” he said.
“I wouldn’t like to say anything on this. It’s her personal life,” said Santokh Singh when asked about Sidharth Shukla. He then spoke about their relationship and stated, “Na main unke khilaaf hoon, na main unke haque mein hoon. Na hi main iska virodh karta hoon aur na hi main chahta hoon ki yeh dono saath rahen. (I’m not standing with them, nor am against them. I’m not protesting against it but I don’t even want them to be together.)”
He added, “Main Daddy hoon, lekin agar koi mujhe Daddy samjhe tab na. Agar koi samjhega nahin ki main Daddy hoon, toh main Daddy kaika hoon? Bachche ko samajhna chahiye ki mera baap hai (I am her father only if she considers me that).”
In an interaction with Tellychakkar.com, Santokh had vowed to never talk to Shehnaaz. He said, “Shehnaaz shot in Chandigarh and could not come to meet her own family which is just two hours away. I came to know about her shooting in Chandigarh also through the media reports and not her personally. Her grandfather has recently undergone a knee operation but she did not bother to at least pay a visit and check on him.”
He further added, “Now when will we get a chance to see her, even I do not know, as it is not often that she comes up north to shoot or visit! I do not have her manager’s contact number too to reach out to her. In fact, I have sworn never to speak to her for life!”
