Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dala’s relationship was an open secret. The couple never shied away from being spotted or snapped together in public. However, Varun never came forward and officially made a statement confirming his relationship with Natasha, up until 2018.
In 2018, Varun, for the first time spoke about him being with Natasha on ‘Koffee With Karan’ where he was accompanied by actress Katrina Kaif. 
And now, rumours have it that Varun will soon be tying the knot with his longtime girlfriend. 
And while there are several media reports claiming Varun will marry Natasha by year-end, Kareena Kapoor Khan has confirmed the couple’s engagement on her show What Women Want, where Varun was a guest celebrity.
It was while Kareena was asking Varun who made the first that she addressed Natasha as the actor’s fiancee. Kareena asked, “Varun you know your fiancee Natasha since your school days, I want to know who made the first move?”
To which Varun replied, “See, marriage, now coming into this time period when you have been with someone for so long… I felt like getting married after I saw my brother and my bhabhi. When I saw my niece Niara, I was like, ‘This is good’.”

Varun further revealed that he and Natasha would have liked to be in a live-in relationship but his family wants to see them get married. “Natasha and her parents have been pretty chill in that sense but I think after a certain period, you decide that you want to live with each other. She and I wouldn’t have minded a live-in relationship but my parents wanted us… Because I have my own place now,” he avered.
On the show, while Varun revealed that he met Natasha in the sixth standard, and they remained close friends up until the twelfth standard, he added that when one day he saw Natasha walk towards him in the school’s canteen arena, he felt like he was in love with her.
He further added that Natasha rejected him some three to four times but he didn’t give up hope and kept trying to win her over. 
And the rest is, of course, as they say, history.
