In a recent and surprising piece of news, Akshay Kumar-Kiara Advani starrer ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ makers have enabled a feature on their trailer video on YouTube that allows them to hide the number of likes and dislikes the video is receiving on the platform.
The upcoming film’s trailer was released on Friday after fans had been waiting for a glimpse of the much-talked-about flick all set to release on November 9.

While netizens were quick to notice this sudden change, they cited Alia Bhatt starter Sadak 2’s terrible ratings on IMDb and the recording making number of dislikes the film’s trailer had received as the reason behind ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ makers’ move.
Earlier, with 13 million dislikes, Alia Bhatt starter Sadak 2 had made the record for being the most disliked trailer on YouTube globally, beating Justin Bieber’s ‘Baby’ which has 11 million dislikes.
Alia and the film were at the receiving end of flak after actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death rekindled the debate around nepotism and ‘nepo-kids’.
Not just Sadak 2, Ananya Panday-Ishaan Khatter starter ‘Khaali Peeli’ too suffered at the hands of angry social media users.
Despite the trailer releasing on the trailer September 22, as on October 10, it only has 59 thousand likes, while the number of dislikes stands at 168 thousand.
Looking at these discouraging trends, netizens think that the makers of ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ ina n act of ‘cowardice’ enabled a feature that allows them to hide the number of likes/ dislikes on the trailer.
“Bhai FoxStarHindi, cowardice move you played by hiding your likes and dislikes,” wrote a user.
“Even Alia Bhatt and Ananya Pandey have more guts than you Akshay . Why you hide likes/dislikes? Why?” asked a social media user.
“Dislike button  = Dar ka Mahol hai, samvidhan khatre me hai (Dislike button = It’s an atmosphere of fear, the constitution is in danger,” wrote a user sarcastically.
‘Laxmmi Bomb’ is the Hindi remake of Tamil film ‘Kanchana’. The movie is being helmed by Raghava Lawrence who also starred and directed the original flick.
