A Xiaomi smartphone has surfaced on the Geekbench database, which is powered by a top-end Qualcomm octa-core chipset, presumed to be the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

Xiaomi is readying the Redmi K70 series, which should include the entry-level Redmi K70e, the middle-level Redmi K7, and the top-end Redmi K70 Pro. Could the mystery flagship Xiaomi Android smartphone, with the Qualcomm chipset, be the Redmi K70 Pro?

Redmi K70 Pro To Be Powered By Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3?

Tipster Digital Chat Station recently revealed that the Redmi K70 series has three smartphones that are internally codenamed Ingress, Vermeer, and Manet. These devices could be branded as the Redmi K70e, Redmi K70, and Redmi K70 Pro.

The Xiaomi device codenamed Manet has now surfaced on the Geekbench benchmarking website. The device was put through the latest Geekbench 6 single-core and multi-core synthetic stress tests.

The mystery Xiaomi smartphone with model number 23117RK66C, believed to be the upcoming Redmi K70 Pro managed to score 1100 points in the single-core tests and scored 5150 points in the multi-core tests. Needless to mention, these are exceptionally high scores and beat the existing smartphones.

The Geekbench listing confirms the Xiaomi smartphone’s chipset has eight CPU cores in a 2+5+1 configuration. The single Prime Performance core is clocked at 3.19GHz. The five Performance cores are clocked at 2.96GHz, while the remaining 2 Efficiency cores are clocked at 2.27GHz.

Although the name of the octa-core Qualcomm chipset hasn’t been mentioned, these specifications indicate the mystery Xiaomi smartphone is packing the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

The Geekbench listing also confirms the SD8G3 SoC is paired with 16GB RAM. It is quite likely the Redmi K70 Pro’s top-end variant could feature 24GB RAM.

The mystery Xiaomi smartphone is running Android 14. Since this is a Xiaomi phone, it could be MIUI 15, which is based on Android 14.

Redmi K70 Pro Specifications, Features (Leaked and Rumored)

Xiaomi recently released the Redmi K60 Ultra in China. This smartphone is expected to debut as the Xiaomi 13T Pro outside its home country.

Xiaomi has yet to acknowledge the existence of the Redmi K70 series. Hence, most of the specifications and features of the Redmi K70 Pro are based on rumors.

The Xiaomi Redmi K70 Pro is expected to feature a 6.67-inch Flat OLED display with a 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen should hide an under-display fingerprint scanner and perhaps even an under-display front-facing camera.

Xiaomi could embed LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. According to the Geekbench listing, at least one variant of the Redmi K70 Pro should feature 16GB RAM.
Xiaomi has been loyal to the 5000mAh battery, which could be inside the upcoming Redmi smartphone, and it should support 120W or higher wired fast charging tech and 30W wireless charging.

Some reports suggest the Redmi K70 Pro could have a triple rear camera headlined by an OIS-enabled 50MP Sony IMX707 primary camera. It could be accompanied by a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, as well as a 10MP telephoto lens, presumably with 3x zoom capabilities.
