Vivo recently confirmed it will launch the Vivo V29e Android smartphone in India early next week. The retail pricing of the midrange Android smartphone has now leaked, along with the color options, RAM, internal storage space, and other specifications and hardware.

The Vivo V29e is a “Made In India Design Masterpiece” that will be available via multiple channels, including online e-commerce and offline physical stores. It appears the leaked posters are intended for the latter to be used for displaying outside their stores.

According to the poster, the Vivo V29e will be available in two RAM + Storage variants, and two colors. The entry-level variant of the V29e with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage will cost ₹26,999 in India. The top-end variant of the Vivo V29e too features 8GB RAM but storage has been bumped up to 256GB. This variant has been priced at ₹28,999.

The Vivo V29e will debut in Arctic Red and Arctic Blue shades. It is not immediately clear if both these color options will be valid for 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants. The poster also reconfirms the dual-tone back panel, which was previously confirmed to have a rough texture like a fine-grain sandpaper.

Vivo has started promoting the V29e smartphone via multiple channels. The teaser page that went live last week claims the Vivo V29e is a “Design Masterpiece” and even tagged the device as #TheMasterpiece.

The Vivo V29e’s recently leaked renders indicated the Vivo smartphone features a dual rear camera setup. A new report now claims the Vivo V29e will feature a 64MP primary camera.

The 64MP rear camera will have OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) support. Vivo should promote the camera’s ability to capture “great night portraits”.

The Vivo V29e will have “Wedding Portrait” imaging software. The feature essentially processes photos and adds a “mix of warm, pastel shades as well as a blend of gold and pink tones.”

Perhaps the most glaring aspect of the Vivo V29e is its Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, which is quite an old chipset. Strangely, even the Motorola Moto G84 5G, which will launch next week, is packing the same older chipset and has the same increased RAM and storage. Incidentally, the Snapdragon 695 is a 5G-enabled chipset. Hence, both smartphones can reliably work with the 5G networks in India.
