As the release date of Vivek Agnihotri’s film The  Vaccine War nears, the filmmaker has shared a glimpse of National Award-winning actress Pallavi Joshi’s character from the movie and left fans amazed. 

On Friday, Vivek Agnihotri took to his Twitter and shared a glimpse of Pallavi Joshi’s character (Dr.) Priya Abraham, Director, National Institute of Virology from the movie The Vaccine War and while sharing the video, the filmmaker wrote, “3-time National Award winner Pallavi Joshi as (Dr.) Priya Abraham, Director, of the National Institute of Virology, delivered one of the most heart-touching performances in Indian cinema. 6 DAYS TO GO! #TheVaccineWar #ATrueStory releasing worldwide on 28 September 2023.” 

Netizens also reacted to the video and expressed excitement for the movie. One of the comments read, “Excellently rendered dialogues with apt feel and resolve… Pallavi. Will surely watch the movie on 28th Sept 2023…waiting eagerly for 28th.” Another wrote, “I am sure she would have given an overwhelming performance in the movie.” Another fan wrote, “Can’t wait to see your extraordinary work and epic performances of Pallavi & Nana Patekar. Helmed by Vivek Agnihotri, The Vaccine War tells the story of India’s battle to make its own vaccine to fight against Covid-19. It tells what went behind the making of India’s own vaccine. Since the trailer of the film was released, it grabbed a lot of attention and netizens also expressed their excitement for the movie. The film features Anupam Kher, Nana Patekar, Sapthami Gowda, and Pallavi Joshi as lead characters, and the film will tell the story of the crisis time when India developed the vaccine. Produced by Pallavi Joshi and I Am Buddha, the film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on September 28, 2023.

Talking about the film, producer and actress Pallavi Joshi said, “The Vaccine War is unlike any other film that we have ever done under ‘I Am Buddha’ productions. Science thriller is a very new genre and it’s a very difficult genre but we decided to accept the challenge. I think 100% marks should go to Vivek for accepting this challenge of writing and directing this film.”
