A memo from White House physician Sean Barbabella confirmed no evidence of deep vein thrombosis or arterial disease. Additionally, there were no signs of heart failure, renal impairment, or systemic illness identified.

The bruising on Trump’s hand has been attributed to “minor soft tissue irritation” from frequent hand-shaking. It is also a side effect of aspirin therapy taken for cardiovascular prevention.
