Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif were recently in the news as rumours of their engagement spread like wildfire. Katrina’s team had denied the news at the time. Now, Vicky’s brother Sunny Kaushal has revealed how their family reacted to the news when they heard of it.
Vicky’s brother Sunny said that when the family heard of the news they laughed it off. Sunny revealed that his parents also teased Vicky and asked him to treat them with sweets.
During an interview with an entertainment website, Sunny said, “I remember that Vicky had gone to the gym in the morning when the rumours started coming. So, when he returned home, mom and dad funnily asked him, ‘Arre yaar, teri engagement ho gayi, mithai to khila de (We heard you got engaged, please treat us to sweets)’. And then Vicky told them, ‘Jitni asli engagement hui hai, utni asli mithai bhi kha lo (Since the engagement is imaginary, the sweets will be too)’.”
“We don’t know where it all came from, but we all were laughing so hard because of that,” Sunny added.
Vicky and Katrina have been rumoured to be together since 2019. They have not confirmed the relationship yet. Earlier in 2021, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, during a recent interview, had said, “Vicky and Katrina are together, that’s true. Am I going to get in trouble for saying this? I don’t know. I think they’re quite open about it.” 

On the work front, Katrina is currently shooting for ‘Tiger 3’ in Turkey with Salman Khan.
