a
blockbuster
hit
and
there
are

thoughts

The
horror
comedy,
which

Tripathi,

Khurana

Abhishek
Banerjee

the
lead,
has
set
the
box
office
on
fire
since
the
first
day
and
has
shattered
several
records.

(fourth
Sunday)
which
took
the
overall
collections
of
the
movie
to
Rs
527
crores.
Interestingly,
Stree

has
managed
to
beat
the
lifetime
collection
of
Sunny
Deol’s
Gadar
2
which
was
Rs
524.45
crores.

recorded

Meanwhile,
after
the
phenomenal
success
of
Stree
2,
there
have
been
speculations
about
the
makers
planning
the
third
installment.
Talking
about
the
same,
Abhishek
Banerjee,
who
plays
the
role
of
Janaa
in
the
franchise,
told
the
Indian
Express
that
while
Stree
3
will
take
some
time,
some
parts
of
the
script
have
been
written.
He
also
emphasised
that
it
will
be
“a
big
epic
saga”.
