US Indices On Thursday

US markets ended lower on Thursday as investors turned cautious ahead of key economic data releases. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 301 points, or 0.65%, to close at 45,952.24. The S&P 500 dropped 0.63% to 6,629.07, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq slipped 0.47% to 22,562.53.

Asian Market Performnace

Asian markets were trading mostly lower on Friday, due to weak global sentiment. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index (HSI) led the losses, falling 1.44% to 25,515.08, while China’s Shenzhen Composite dropped nearly 1.91%. Japan’s Nikkei also declined 0.93% to 47,827.31, and Taiwan’s benchmark slipped 0.76%. Australia’s ASX 200 fell 0.82%, and New Zealand’s NZX 50 was down 0.74%. Meanwhile, Malaysia’s market remained almost flat with a minor dip of 0.06%.
