Shehnaaz Gill grooves to Hum Toh Deewane Hue with Elvish Yadav, video goes viral, fans say ‘record-tod performance’

Shehnaaz Gill and Elvish Yadav’s reel on Hum Toh Deewane went viral in no time, and the fans of the stars are calling them the ‘perfect record-tod jodi’.

What happens when two social media stars collaborate? Bigg Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav and Bigg Boss 13 star Shehnaaz Gill came together, and their fans made their reel viral and called them dynamite jodi waiting to explode on the screen. Shehnaaz invited Elvish as a guest to her chat show, Desi Vibes with Shehnaaz Gill. 

The social media star, and Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner, Elvish went to the show to promote his newly-released song video, Hum Toh Deewane Hue. After shooting an interesting episode, Elvish and Shehnaaz shot an Instagram reel, using the song. Shehnaaz and Elvish shared the reel on their profile with the caption, “Rate This Duo (heart emoji). Hum Toh Deewane.”

As soon as the video was shared, it went viral in no time. In five hours, the video got over 2 million likes. An internet user wrote, “Level sath hai Systummm sat hai bas ab toh wait hai. Best movies ka.” Another internet user wrote, “Starboy with star girl.” One of the netizens wrote, “Sab deewane hai systumm ke.” A netizen wrote, “record-tod performance.” Another netizen wrote, “This duo (heart emoji) two pure hearts.” Another netizen wrote, “Hum toh dono ke deewane.” One of Shehnaaz’s fans wrote, “I know this reel directed by one and only Shehnaaz Gill.” 

Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 winner Elvish Yadav, on his birthday, released his new romantic song Hum Toh Deewane which features Urvashi Rautela. Sharing the video, Elvish Yadav wrote, “systum set hai !! Bhai ke birthday par, tohfa Kabool karo.” In one of the scenes, Elvish and Urvashi can be seen re-creating Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan’s iconic scene from Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan song from their film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. The song met with mixed reception, as a section of netizens called the song a parody of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. On the work front, Shehnaaz will soon be seen in Thank You For Coming. 

Directed by Karan Boolani, the film stars a fantastic ensemble cast including Shehnaaz with Bhumi Pednekar, Dolly Singh, Kusha Kapila, Shibani Bedi, Pradhuman Singh Mall, Natasha Rastogi, Gautmik, Sushant Divgikar, Saloni Daini, Dolly Ahluwalia, Karan Kundrra, and a special appearance by Anil Kapoor. Thank You For Coming will release in the cinemas on October 6.
