Sanya Malhotra says she ‘manifested’ working with Shah Rukh Khan during Dangal. shares ‘cute’ throwback video
After impressing fans with her performance as a cop in Kathal, Sanya Malhotra is now sharing the screen with Shah Rukh Khan in Jawan. The actress took to her social media and shared how she manifested working with the actor during her Bollywood debut.
On Thursday, Sanya Malhotra took to her Instagram and shared a throwback video recreating Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic pose when she was shooting for Aamir Khan-starrer Dangal. In the video, the actress can be seen wearing a t-shirt and a jogger and recreating SRK’s iconic pose on the song Mitwa.
The actress also penned a long caption revealing that she manifested working with Shah Rukh Khan and wrote, “Itni shiddat se maine ye manifest kiya hai, ki har zarre ne ye fulfill karne ki saazish ki hai. Kehte hain ki agar kisi cheez ko dil se chaho toh puri
kainaat usse tumse milane ki koshish mein lag jaati hai.”
Netizens also reacted to the video and showered love on the actress for her role in Jawan. Helmed by Atlee, Jawan is an action thriller that stars Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupathi. The movie marks the actress’ Bollywood debut. Other than Nayanthara, the film also stars Priyamani, Ridhi Dogra, Sanya Malhotra, and other actresses. Deepika Padukone too is seen making a special appearance in the movie.
Produced by Gauri Khan under the banner of Red Chillies and co-produced by Gaurav Verma, the movie is made on a whopping budget of Rs 300 crore. The film opened to a thunderous response from the audience with fans dancing in theatres and pouring milk over Shah Rukh Khan’s cutouts in Chennai.
