Samsung has officially confirmed the “Fan Edition” of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series. The company is reintroducing the special edition that features similar hardware but sports an attractive price of premium, flagship smartphones.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE should launch very soon as the South Korean tech giant has quietly put up its Support Page, which also confirms the smartphone’s multiple variants. Let’s look at the latest available details of what could be an aggressively priced smartphone belonging to the Samsung Galaxy S23 series.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE Support Page Is Live

The Galaxy S23 Fan Edition Support Page has been quietly put up. The device reportedly bears the model number SM-S711B/DS. However, previous reports have indicated Samsung refers to this device using multiple codenames, including SM-S711U, SM-S711W, SM-S711U1, SM-S7110, and SM-S711B.

The “U” in the model number refers to the United States. Additionally, the U1 refers to “Unlocked”, which means this device will work with multiple carriers in the United States. Models intended for Canada have the suffix “W”.

The SM-S711B is the Galaxy S23 FE model for global markets, while the China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong markets will get model number SM-S7110. Samsung is expected to launch the smartphone in the US, Canada, China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong first, followed by India and other regions.

The abovementioned model numbers have recently surfaced on the Bluetooth SIG certification website. Additionally, they have been spotted in the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) database. This confirms that the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will support wireless, and presumably reverse wireless charging.

Interestingly, Samsung hasn’t put up a Support Page for the Samsung Galaxy S23 Fan Edition on websites for prominent markets. Instead, the company has chosen Samsung Kazakhstan’s site.

Although the Support Page is detailed, it does not offer any specifications, features, or hardware details of the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE smartphone. Multiple leaks, rumors, and reports have attempted to fill this information gap about the premium Android smartphone from Samsung.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE Specifications, Features (Leaked and Rumored)

The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE could feature a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display, with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone should be powered by either Samsung Exynos 2200 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 | 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC, depending on the market.

The FE edition of the Galaxy S23 series is tipped to feature the signature triple rear camera, headlined by an OIS-enabled 50MP main camera, which would be paired with an 8MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera. Rumors claim the Samsung smartphone has a 10MP front-facing camera, which seems quite a low resolution for such a device.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE could pack just 8GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, and a 4,500mAh battery with 25W wired and 15W wireless charging. Once again, these aren’t eye-catching specifications.
