Sai Pallavi rubbishes wedding rumours with Rajkumar Periasamy after their edited photos go viral: ‘This is purely vile’

Sai Pallavi and director Rajkumar Periasamy’s edited photos are actually from the pooja ceremony of their upcoming film, which also stars Sivakarthikeyan in the leading role.

Sai Pallavi rubbished her wedding rumours with the director Rajkumar Periasamy, which had sparked after their edited photos went viral on social media. In the pictures, Sai and Rajkumar can be seen dressed in traditional outfits and wearing red garlands around their necks. People began claims that these photos are from their secret wedding ceremony.

Sai put out an angry tweet reacting to these rumours and clarified that the picture is actually from the mahurat pooja of her new film with Sivakarthikeyan, which is being directed by Rajkumar Periasamy. She added that the photo has been intentionally cropped and circulated with “paid bots and disgusting intentions”.

Taking to his X (previously known as Twitter) account on Friday, September 22, Sai Pallavi wrote, “Honestly, I don’t care for Rumours but when it involves friends who are family, I have to speak up. An image from my film’s pooja ceremony was intentionally cropped and circulated with paid bots & disgusting intentions. When I have pleasant announcements to share on my work front, it’s disheartening to have to explain for all these jobless doings. To cause discomfort like this is purely vile.”
It was on May 9, on the occasion of the actress’s birthday, that Rajkumar had shared a couple of photos from the film’s pooja ceremony and wrote, “Happy birthday dear Sai Pallavi, You are the best and May God bless you with everything that’s best as always! I feel blessed to have you too by my side in this! Thank you for being there.”

Meanwhile, Sai Pallavi will reportedly begin filming her debut Bollywood film soon, in which she has been paired with Aamir Khan’s Junaid Khan. As per reports, the film is touted to be a love story and will be entirely shot in Japan.
