Reliance Jio has launched its Jio AirFiber wireless 5GF home and small office broadband service. Relying on India’s leading telecom service and wireless cellular network connectivity 5G backbone, the service can offer speeds of up to 1Gbps.

At its core, the Jio AirFiber service is like a WiFi hotspot or a router that offers wireless access to high-speed internet. The key difference between other internet providers and Jio AirFiber is that the latter uses high-speed 5G cellular technology instead of fiber optics.

The Reliance Jio AirFiber promises to provide a one-stop solution for all the digital needs of Indian subscribers. The service will include access to content for smart TVs, smartphones, and Cloud PC as well.

As expected there are multiple subscriptions, each with varying speeds. However, each subscription plan offers unlimited data. The most affordable Reliance Jio AirFiber plan costs ₹599 per month and offers 30mbps speed.

Those interested in getting 1Gpbs speeds will need to pay ₹3999 per month and subscribe to an AirFiber Max plan. To sweeten the deal, Reliance Jio is bundling complimentary access to 14+ OTT services including Netflix, Amazon Prime, Jio Cinema Premium, and more.

Jio AirFiber subscribers will get three devices with their subscription such as a Wi-Fi 6 router, a Smart Set Top Box with 4K output, and a voice-active remote.

Some Jio AirFiber plans will also offer access to Smart Home service, which includes remote access to a Cloud PC, primarily for Education and Work-from-home scenarios. However, users can use this Cloud PC service for security and surveillance solutions, healthcare, education, smart home IOT, gaming, and home networking as well.
