Xiaomi recently confirmed the official launch date for the Redmi Note 13 series smartphones, which should include the Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+. The top-end variant has now surfaced on Geekbench, confirming its key specifications.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro+ has been officially confirmed to be powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra chipset. Let’s look at the other hardware details and features of the upcoming midrange smartphone from Xiaomi.
Redmi Note 13 Pro+ RAM, Chipset, And Android OS Version Confirmed
Xiaomi officially announced the launch date for the Redmi Note 13 series earlier this week. Smartphones in this series should first launch in China. However, they are expected to be available in multiple markets, including India in the near future.
A Xiaomi smartphone bearing model number ‘Xiaomi 23090RA98C’ has been spotted on the benchmarking website, Geekbench. This device appears to be the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus.

It is safe to assume the name of the device because it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra chipset. This octa-core SoC has two Performance cores clocked at 2.80GHz, while the remaining six cores are clocked at 2.00GHz.
The Geekbench listing indicates the Xiaomi smartphone is packing 15.05GB or 16GB RAM. In other words, this could be the top-end model of the Redmi Note 13 Pro+. It managed to score 1,122 and 2,636 points in single-core and multi-core tests respectively.

Interestingly, the Xiaomi smartphone is running Android 13. This means the Redmi Note 13 series smartphones will boot MIUI 14, which is based on Android 13.
Simply put, the Redmi Note 13 series smartphones won’t ship with MIUI 15, which is based on Android 14. Xiaomi may have deliberately limited these devices to Android 13 to ensure that the upcoming Xiaomi 14 series smartphones are the first to boot Android 14 right out of the retail box.
