Realme should launch a new budget Android smartphone with stellar specifications and hardware. The Realme V50 has secured TENAA certification.

The budget Android smartphone segment is gaining specifications and hardware reserved for midrange and premium devices. The upcoming Realme V50 features a large Full HD+ 90Hz display, up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, and much more.

Realme V50 Rumored Specifications, Features (Rumored And Confirmed)

Realme hasn’t acknowledged the existence of the Realme V50, let alone started teasing the upcoming smartphone. However, two Realme smartphones bearing model numbers RMX3781 and RMX3783 were certified by the TENAA authority in China.

The codename RMX3783 belongs to the Realme V50 Android smartphone, an IMEI listing of the smartphone revealed. Although Realme is silent about the device, the rumor mill has been churning out specifications of what appears to be an affordable Android smartphone with midrange specifications.

According to the TENAA listing, the Realme V50 measures 165.7 x 76 x 7.89mm and weighs 190 grams. Simply put, it is a relatively lightweight smartphone. However, it packs a 5000mAh battery, with support for some decent fast charging tech.

The Realme V50 (RMX3783) features a 6.72-inch Full HD+ IPS LTPS LCD panel with a 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. The 1080p display is tipped to support a 90Hz refresh rate instead of the increasingly standard 120Hz.

The RMX3783 runs Android 13 OS. However, this being a Realme smartphone, the Realme V50 should have a custom layer of Realme UI 4.0 on top of the Android OS.

The TENAA listing for the Realme V50 indicates the smartphone is powered by a chipset whose Performance cores are clocked at 2.2 GHz. Needless to add, this is budget or perhaps, even an entry-level specification.

It is possible that Realme may have embedded the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC, which coincidentally, powers the global variant of the Realme 11 5G smartphone. The TENAA listing mentions this device would be available with 4 GB, 6 GB, 8 GB, or 12 GB of RAM. Buyers would get to choose between 64 GB, 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB of storage.

The Realme V50 features a dual rear camera setup, comprising a 13MP primary camera, which is accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. There’s an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies, video calls, and face unlock. There could be a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the device for biometric authentication.

Incidentally, the Realme RMX3781 and the Realme RMX3783 seem to share most of the specifications. This suggests Realme could rebrand the Realme V50 for markets outside China.

Realme V50 Launch, Expected Price, And Availability

Realme hasn’t begun hinting at the arrival of the Realme V50. However, the 5G-enabled smartphone may launch this month.

The TENAA listing has confirmed the Realme V50 features a textured back panel in grey color. There should be other color options as well.

Realme may launch multiple smartphones under the Realme V50 series with slightly varying specifications and features. Given the rumored specifications and features of the Realme V50 smartphone, its price may start below ₹12,000 if or when it arrives in India.
