Rapper Shubh’s India music tour cancelled following backlash to his alleged Khalistan support

The tour organiser BookMyShow confirmed the cancellation of Shubh’s event, and even notified that the customers who have bought tickets will get a complete refund.

Popular rapper Subhneet Singh aka Shubh’s India Music Tour, ‘Still Rollin Tour’ has been cancelled amid major backlash the singer has received for his alleged support to Khalistan and separatists. As Etimes reported, a few days back, Shubh, on her Instagram story shared a distorted India map without Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab. Shubh shared the image with the caption, “Pray for Punjab.”

With this tour, Shubh was scheduled to perform in different cities but got cancelled after his recent social media activity. BookMyShow, who had organised the tour confined the cancellation and also informed that they would initiate refunds to those who have purchased the tickets.

On X (formerly Twitter), the official handle of BookMyShow tweeted, “Singer Shubhneet Singh’s Still Rollin Tour for India stands cancelled. To that end, BookMyShow has initiated a complete refund of the ticket amount for all consumers who had purchased tickets for the show. The refund will be reflected within 7-10 working days in the customer’s source account of the original transaction.”

Earlier, on Wednesday, electronics company boAt announced the withdrawal of sponsorship of Shubh’s music tour. Reportedly cricketer Virat Kohli has also unfollowed the singer amid backlash.

The backlash was triggered amid a diplomatic row between India and Canada where Prime Minister Justin Trudeau alleged that New Delhi was involved in the murder of a Khalistani terrorist in Canada.  As per the reports, India and Canada have expelled each other senior diplomats and India dubbed Justin’s allegations as ‘absurd’.
