Deepika Padukone is among the closest friends of the superstar Shah Rukh Khan in the Hindi film industry. They have been each other’s pillar of support since Farah Khan’s Om Shanti Om, which was the actress’s Bollywood debut. Shah Rukh and Deepika have since then been paired opposite each other in Chennai Express, Happy New Year, Pathaan, and most recently in Jawan.

The Piku actress has been garnering huge applause for her special appearance in the action thriller, which has become a blockbuster earning over Rs 400 crore net in India and Rs 700 crore gross worldwide within just nine days of the release. On Friday, September 14, the Jawan team held a success event in Mumbai where Shah Rukh and Deepika undoubtedly stole the attention with their bond and friendship that reflected on stage in several ways. 

From dancing to Chaleya song together to speaking highly of each other, the two served BFF goals during the gala. After attending the event, Deepika took to Instagram and shared a bunch of photographs. In the first three images, she is seen flaunting her graceful and amazing look in a beautiful white saree from the gala.
However, it was the fourth photograph that caught everyone’s attention. The picture showed Deepika planting a kiss on SRK’s cheek. Needless to say, it went viral on the internet with fans calling both of them “cuties”. “It’s the last one for me”, the actress had captioned her Instagram post.

Deepika’s husband and actor Ranveer Singh also reacted to their photo as he wrote, “Ishq Mein Dil Bana Hai Ishq Mein Dil Fanna Hai Hoooooo”, which are actually a part of the lyrics from the Jawan’s romantic track Chaleya, sung by Arijit Singh and Shilpa Rao, written by Kumaar, and composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
