Actor Aniruddh Dave who on April 23 took to his social media handle to share the news that he has tested COVID-19 positive, has been shifted to the ICU after his health deteriorated. 
On Friday evening, Anirudh’s friend and actress Aastha Chaudhary took to Instagram to update his fans about Anirudh’s health. While sharing the news, Aastha appealed to the fans to pray for him and his recovery.
In the post, she wrote, “Need prayers for our friend @aniruddh_dave. He is in ICU. Plz spare a min and do pray for him”.

On April 23, the ‘Shakti — Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki’ actor had taken to Instagram to inform his fans that he had tested positive for the novel coronavirus. In his note, Anirudh added that he had kept isolated to avoid spreading the virus. He mentioned he is consulting a doctor while categorically stating that though he has a positive mindset, he obviously wanted his COVID-19 test to be negative. 

For the unversed, Anirudh will be seen in Akshay Kumar’s ‘Bell Bottom’ that is set to premiere on OTT platform Disney Hotstar on May 28. 
Recalling the time they shot for the film in UK, Anirudh had said, “The production house made sure that we are safe. They created a bubble where no one could enter from outside. They took all the precautions. It was a good experience to work with them.”
‘Bell Bottom’ team was in Scotland in August 2020 to shoot for the international schedule of the film. It was the first film to be shot internationally amidst the pandemic. The film is written by Aseem Arrora, directed by Ranjit M Tewari and produced by Jackky Bhagnani, Nikkhil Advani and Deepshikha Deshmukh. It features Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Huma Qureshi and Lara Dutta among others. 
As for Anirudh, he has done several TV shows such as ‘Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki’, ‘Mera Naam Karegi Roshan’, ‘Phulwa’, ‘Patiala Babes’, and ‘Y.A.R.O Ka Tashan’ and carved a niche for himself in the industry.
