On Saturday, Rohit Shetty, Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, and Akshay Kumar announced the filming of Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again. The third instalment of the Singham series is all set to release at Independence Day weekend of 2024. Apart from the actors and director, another person expressed his happiness for being associated with Singham 3. 

Writer-director Milap Zaveri has been finalised as the dialogue writer of the film, and this will be the first time in the Singham series, that Rohit won’t be working with his long-time associate Farhad Samji. For the unversed, Farhad and his brother Sajid Samji have written screenplay and dialogues for Singham and Singham Returns. Even after the brother-duo parted ways, Farhad wrote dialogues of Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi (co-written by Rohit Shetty, Sanchit Bedre, and Vidhi Ghodgaonkar) and Cirkus. 

Milap expressed his happiness in working as a dialogue writer for Singham Again. On X (formerly Twitter), Milap shared a photo with Rohit, and tweeted, “AALI RE AALI AATA MAAZI BAARI AALI to write dialogues for the LIONHEARTED Rohit Shetty! Its been a dream come true to work with a maestro of Mass like him! Love you and thank you for #SinghamAgain.”

For the unversed, Milap Zaveri is known for penning dialogues for movies such as Kaante, Housefull, Shootout At Wadala, Grand Masti, and Ek Villain. He has also directed Mastizaade, Satyameva Jayate, Marjaavaan, and Satyameva Jayate 2. 

Soon after Milap announced his association, several netizens wished him good luck. While many asked him not to go over the top with Singham Again. A netizen wrote, “Milap bhai Please Satyameva Jayate 2 jaisa kuch mat kar dena.” Another netizen wrote, “Bhai badhiya massy dialogues likhiyo.. don’t disappoint pls.” An internet user wrote, “Sorry to say this but mujhe Milap Zaveri ki likhi koi bhi film aur dialogue achche nahi lagi, cringe meaningless, cheap quality ke dialogue hote hai milap zaveri ke na koi sar hota na pair.” Another internet user wrote, “We want your flavour back in Singham 3, like how you wrote in Ek Villain, Shootout At Wadala. Good luck @MassZaveri.”

Singham Again will also feature Deepika Padukone as the first female cop in Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe. At the box office, the movie will clash with Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule.
