Kangana Ranaut once again faced the wrath of the netizens and this time over a photo she shared on her Twitter page. The actor posted a photo of parsadam on the occasion of Ashtami. The photo has a dish with raw onions on it which did not go well with many Hindus on Twitter. Kangana’s tweet read as “Imagine to be fasting on Ashtami when parsadam in your house looks like this …. अष्टमी की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएँ.”
One of the tweet slamming Kangana read as “”Tumhari Harkat Bata Rahi Hai , Tumhara Mazhab Naya Naya Hai”.  PS – Onions are forbidden for nine days of Navratri. #OnionAshtami.”

To which another user replied, “But he is absolutely right, onions are NOT at all a part of meals during Navratri.”

Kangana replied to them stating, “Yes but only I am fasting in my house, I made it clear I am fasting today and not eating that’s precisely the post, I decorated that thali for my brother who just came home for some work, he can eat what he wants. Some people are really slow huh…!”

Soon after her tweet ‘Onion’ became a top trend on Twitter and Kangana reacted to it stating, “Can’t believe #Onion is one of the top trends. Well this is not to hurt anyone but the beauty of Hinduism is that it’s not rigid like other religions, let’s not ruin that, I am fasting today if my family wants to eat a salad with parsadam let’s not ridicule them #Onion #navratri2021.”

However, this did not stop Kangana and she has got into a war of words with a user.
