NCB set to question Ananya Panday over suspicious financial transactions

Mumbai Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has again summoned Bollywood actor Ananya Panday to appear before it for questioning over the ongoing drugs case on October 25. Ananya was questioned by the NCB for close to 4 hours on October 22, 2021. The actress was probed after some WhatsApp chats between her and Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan came to light.
Now, according to sources close to the NCB, it has been revealed that 7 electronic gadgets belonging to Ananya have been seized by the NCB and sent to Forensics Department for further investigation. The gadgets include her mobile phones, laptops, among other things.
NCB is looking to retrieve deleted WhatsApp chats and other details with the help of the forensic department. If the information is collected by Monday, then Ananya might get interrogated based on the information.
It has also been learned that the NCB is not only keen to question Ananya about the WhatsApp chats but also ask her about some suspicious financial transactions, statements recorded by the accused in drugs case, and information based on electronic devices.
Ananya was first summoned by NCB on Thursday in connection with the drugs case and was questioned on Thursday and Friday at the NCB office regarding the case. She reached the office with her father Chunky Panday.

During the questioning that took place on Thursday, the actor denied the allegations of supplying and consuming drugs. As per the NCB sources, Ananya denied the allegation of supplying drugs to Aryan Khan, who is accused in the case, and said that she has never consumed drugs.
