The Motorola Edge 40 Neo appears to be positioned below the Motorola Edge 40, and the leaked pricing confirms the same. The smartphone is supposed to launch this week, on September 14, 2023.

Just before the launch, the price of the Motorola Edge 40 Neo has been revealed by a listing on a European retailer’s website. The listing is for the top-end variant of the Edge 40 Neo with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

The top-end variant of the Motorola smartphone will cost €338.99 (approx. ₹30,000). This is surprisingly lower than the price mentioned in an earlier leak, which claimed the smartphone would be priced at €399.99 (approx. 36,000).

It is important to note that only a single website had put up the listing, which has now been taken down. Moreover, the price would be valid in the European Union (EU). In other words, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo could cost a lot less when it arrives in India. Motorola should confirm the pricing of the smartphone in two days, at the launch event.

Motorola Edge 40 Neo Specifications, Features

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo will be a 5G-enabled Android smartphone. It is tipped to feature a 6.55-inch Full HD+ P-OLED display with a 2400 × 1080 pixels resolution, and a blazing fast 144Hz refresh rate.

Motorola has reportedly embedded the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1050 SoC inside the Edge 40 Neo, which is paired with Mali G77 GPU. Some reports claim there’s a single variant of the Motorola smartphone with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. However, there could be an entry-level model with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo features a dual rear camera setup, headlined by a 50MP primary camera, which is paired with a 13MP (presumably ultra-wide-angle) secondary lens. There should be a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies, video calls, and face unlock.

Motorola is expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery inside the Edge 40 Neo, which could support 68W wired fast charging. The smartphone has been tipped to have an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The Motorola Edge 40 Neo is expected to come in Black Beauty, Caneel Bay, and Soothing Sea color options.

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo 5G should boot Android 13 with MyUX skin on top. Some of the notable connectivity options of the smartphone should be dual SIM, 5G, 4G VoLTE, USB-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, GLONASS, and BeiDou.
