Motorola has officially confirmed the launch of the Edge 40 Neo in India. The launch of the Motorola Edge 40 Neo follows the arrival of the Edge 40 and Edge 40 Pro, the former of which is available in India’s sub-30K segment.

Motorola has confirmed key specifications of the Edge 40 Neo ahead of its launch. According to the Lenovo-owned brand, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo will feature a smooth OLED display, MediaTek chipset, a dual-camera setup, a large battery with fast charging, and near-stock Android software.

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo launch date in India is set for September 21. Following the launch, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo will be available for purchase via Flipkart.

We believe the Motorola Edge 40 Neo price in India will start from under Rs 25,000, considering the vanilla Edge 40 starts from Rs 29,999. Motorola has confirmed that the Edge 40 Neo will come in three shades – Caneel Bay (Blue), Black Beauty, and Soothing Sea (Cloud Blue).

Motorola Ede 40 Neo Specifications

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7030 SoC paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The Moto Edge 40 Neo packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 68W TurboPower charging support. It runs Android 13 with the latest version of MyUX on top.

Motorola is promising two years of Android OS updates and three years of security updates with the Edge 40 Neo. The phone sports a segment-first 10-bit pOLED Curved display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel also offers HDR10+ support.

For optics, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo gets a dual-camera setup on the back with a 50 MP primary sensor with OIS. The main camera is paired with a 13 MP ultrawide unit that triples as a Macro Vision and Depth sensor. Up front, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo opts for a 32 MP selfie camera. Connectivity options on the device include 5G and Wi-Fi 6E.
