Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput often indulge in some social media banter on each other’s posts on Instagram. Shahid, on Tuesday, shared a selfie on his verified account, in an attempt to ‘scare’ his fans, giving them a glimpse of his new look. “Boo,” the actor captioned his post.
However, Mira, in her own witty manner, corrected Shahid and wrote “beau” in the comment section. For those who are unaware, ‘Beau’ is an old-fashioned term for “boyfriend.” Apart from Mira, Shahid’s brother Ishaan Khatter also commented on the post and left a ghost emoji on the picture.

Mira and Shahid got married in 2015 and celebrated their fifth anniversary in 2020. They are parents to daughter Misha and son Zain.
Earlier, during an interview with The Times of India, Mira had said that she doesn’t consider them to be a ‘film family’. She said, “I think like any other family, ours, too, is a normal family. I don’t consider our household to be a film family. It’s just that my husband works in films. It is his profession, and not something that formulates our entire life.”
On being quizzed about Shahid’s culinary skills, the star wife revealed, “Shahid is a stickler for basic ghar ka khaana. Whenever we go out, it is because I am tired of home-cooked food. At the farmhouse, I can see that Shahid has taken an interest in cooking. The other day, I was craving to eat something spicy, so he cooked pasta for me. This is the first time I ate pasta with matar in it (laughs). Who adds green peas in pasta? I must admit that I am better at cooking, so he should do what he is good at — acting.”
