Since Allu Arjun won the National Award for Pushpa: The Rise, the fans are awaiting an update about the release date of his upcoming movie Pushpa 2: The Rule. Now, putting an end to the wait, makers have finally announced the release date of the sequel. 

On Monday, Mythri Movie Makers took to their Instagram and shared a poster announcing the release date of Pushpa 2: The Rule. The poster featured Allu Arjun sitting in a chair in Pushpa swag and smoking a cigarette. The makers captioned the post, “Mark the Date 15th AUG 2024 – #Pushpa2TheRule Grand Release Worldwide PUSHPA RAJ IS COMING BACK TO CONQUER THE BOX OFFICE.” The movie is all set to release in theatres on Independence Day 2024. 

Netizens couldn’t control their excitement and filled the comment section. One of the comments read, “2024 will be a bang.” Another wrote, “if everything goes well, Pushpa 2 will become the first non-SS Rajamouli 1000 crore film for Tollywood. All the very best.” Another wrote, “boss of box office on the way.” Another comment read, “fire is comming.” 

Earlier, the makers of Pushpa 2 created a huge buzz as they released an intense poster of Allu Arjun from the movie. In the poster, the actor could be seen wearing heavy jewelry, and saree and holding a gun in one of his hands. The poster created a stir on the internet leaving fans excited for the movie. 

Pushpa 2 is a direct sequel to the 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise. Helmed by Sukumar, the movie stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil in key roles. If the reports are to be believed, a big face-off will be seen between Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil. Pushpa broke several box office records and became one of the highest-earning films of the year. Fans have more expectations with the sequel.
