The lucky draw for the Kerala lottery bumper Sthree Sakthi SS 489 has gone live at 3 pm on October 14th, from Gorky Bhavan, Near Bakery Junction, Palayam, Thiruvananthapuram. Citizens who have bought the SS 489 tickets will be eligible to win among ten prizes, with Rs 1 crore being the highest winning amount. However, the agents of top 3 prizes will also be eligible for a portion of the winning amount.

The final amount will be given to the winners after deducting 30% tax rates and 10-12% agent commissions. If you win a lottery above Rs 5,000, he or she can take their lottery ticket to the designated bank or Kerala lottery department to claim the prizes with necessary documents.

Documents Required To Kerala Lottery Prizes:

The documents that is required are:

1. A claim application along with a Photostat copy of both sides of the ticket, self-attested.

2. Two Passport size photographs of the prize-winner duly attested by a Gazetted Officer/Notary.

3. A receipt for the prize money in the prescribed form affixing a revenue stamp worth Rs.1/- with the full address of the prize winner (download).

4. If the prize winner is a minor, a Guardianship certificate from a competent authority.

5. In case of joint claims, one of the prize-winners should be authorized to receive the prize money and a ‘Joint Declaration in stamp paper worth Rs. 50/- should be executed.

6. Self-attested copies of the PAN Card.

7. Attested document to prove identity ( Attested copy of Ration Card, Driving License, Passport, Election ID Card, etc).

Prize payment may be disbursed from the Offices after verifying the genuineness of the prize ticket. Prize amount can also be claimed through Nationalised, Scheduled, or State/ District Co-Operative banks. The prize-winning ticket should be surrendered to the bank with all the above documents, if necessary. The bank should submit the claim to the Director of State Lotteries with the following certificates within the prescribed time, as per Kerala Lotteries Net.
