Kavita Kaushik celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi after 5 years, writes ‘I was fighting with my Mahadev’

Kavita Kaushik opened up on Saturday about how she stopped celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi when her father died in 2016.
Kavita posted photos of herself with Kapil Sharma, Ginni Chatrath, and Bharti Singh. She also dropped a picture of bringing ‘Bappa into our new home’ after five years.
In the first photo, Kavita Kaushik showed a view of her home, which had a Ganesha statue on a table that was decked with flowers. Ronnit Biswas, her husband, posed with their pets.
Kavita posed with Kapil Sharma, Ginni, and Bharti in the following photos while visiting Kapil’s home. She uploaded a photo with Kapil’s mum on Instagram Stories.
She captioned the post as “Something broke in 2016 when my father died, I discontinued bringing Bappa home, maybe I was fighting with my Mahadev “you took away my dad I won’t love your son” I lost my fire to achieve, my zeal, my ambition, But God made us and only God pulls us out of our self made barriers, Today I can’t thank the lord above for the love I’ve recieved in abundance, I had never thought il get love and care like my papa showered on me, we bring back Bappa into our new home after a 5 years break and Bappa made me bring him not just at home but carrying him in my arms on national Tv, Although I’m yet to finish my cameo and go back home to my celebrations my wonderful friends made sure I don’t miss home or Bappa’s Darshan!”

Kavita brought lord Ganesh idol after five years. She also thanked Kapil Sharma and Sambhavna Seth for inviting her home.

For the unversed, Kavita rose to prominence after appearing in the comic show FIR, in which she played a Haryanvi police inspector. From 2006 through 2015, the show aired for nearly nine years.
