A couple of days ago, Kangana Ranaut and Diljit Dosanjh made headlines after the two engaged in an ugly war of words on Twitter over the ongoing farmers’ protest in the country against the three farms bills passed by the Central government.
Later, when Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra extended support to the farmers protesting against the new farm bills, the ‘Panga’ star dragged the former’s name too in her tweets and slammed both Priyanka and Diljit for showing their support to the protesters.
While Priyanka has still not responded to Kangana’s tweet alleging they were ‘misleading and encouraging’ farmers’ protest, it hasn’t stopped Kangana from taking the actress’s name in her latest tweet, of course alongside Diljit.
Alleging that the two — Diljit and Priyanka —  disappeared after provoking the farmers to continue with their protest, wrote on Twitter, “I want Diljit Dosanjh and Priyanka Chopra, who were seen as local revolutionaries lately, to explain to the protesting farmers via a video what they are meant to be protesting against. The two have disappeared after provoking the farmers. And look at the state of the country and the farmers now.”
While Priyanka did not respond, Diljit took to the micro-blogging site and wrote, “Disappeared? Well, forget that. Besides, who gave you the right to decide who is against the country and who loves the country? Where did you get that authority from? Have some shame before calling farmer’s anti-national.”

Hours later, tagging Priyanka and Diljit in another tweet Kangana asked, “Cost of farmers protests so far 70,000 crores, because of dharna economic slowdown in neighbouring industries and small factories, might lead to riots, @diljitdosanjh and @priyankachopra you understand our actions have serious consequences please tell me who will pay for this?”

Earlier, Kangana was involved in a war of words with Diljit Dosanjh. It started with him referring to a now-deleted tweet posted by her in which she wrongly identified an old woman at the ongoing farmers’ protest as Bilkis Bano, the face of the Shaheen Bagh protest.
Diljit has, since then, been actively involved in supporting the farmers as he also joined the agitation at the Delhi border recently.
