languages

Among

Nag
Ashwin
directorial
had
raked
in

22.5
crores
in
Hindi
market
and
emerged
as
the
highest
opener
of
2024.
Interestingly,
Kalki
2898
AD
maintained
a
strong
hold
at
the
box
office
on
the
second
day
(first
Friday)
and
minted
Rs
22.5
crores
as
per
early
estimates
in
the
Hindi
market.
It
is
evident
that
Kalki
2898
AD
has
managed
to
make
an
overall
collections
of
Rs
45
crores
in
2
days
in
Hindi
and
it
will
be
interesting
to
see
how
it
will
fare
during
the
opening
weekend.

Meanwhile,
Kalki
2898
AD
will
reportedly
chronicle
some
events
of
the
Mahabharata
in
the
year
of
3102
BC,
Nag
Ashwin
in
his
interaction
with
Deadline
stated
that
the
movie
“does
not
involve
any
characters
actively
worshipped
by
large
numbers
of
Hindus”.
He
further
asserted,
“We
can
take
it
as
extremely
religious
or
we
can
take
it
as
the
story
of
somebody
who
was
born
with
a
lot
of
power,
didn’t
know
what
to
do
with
it,
and
found
his
mentor
in
the
process”.
