Kakuda
First
Review:

Sonakshi
Sinha
has
been
making
headlines
on
both
personal
and
professional
front.
The
diva,
who
recently
married
to
her
longtime
boyfriend
Zaheer
Iqbal
is
now
grabbing
eyeballs
for
her
upcoming
release
Kakuda.
Directed
by
Aditya
Sarpotdar
who
gave
a
box
office
hit
like
Munjya,
Kakuda
also
features
Riteish
Deshmukh
and
Saqib
Salim
in
the
lead.
The
movie
happens
to
be
a
horror
comedy
and
is
produced
by
Ronnie
Screwvala,
under
RSVP
Movies
and
is
slated
to
release
on
July
12.

As
the
trailer
has
managed
to
create
massive
buzz
in
the
town,
the
makers
had
recently
shared
a
special
screening
of
the
film
which
was
a
starry
affair.
Celebs
like
Jibran
Khan,
Zaheer
Iqbal,
Bhagyashree
Limaye,
Abhay
Verma,
Sharvari
etc
were
seen
attending
the
screening
of
Kakuda
lately.
And
now
the
social
media
is
abuzz
with
reviews
for
this
horror
comedy

Kakuda
First
Review

Taking
to
his
Instagram
handle,
director
Abir
Sengupta
was
all
praises
for
Kakuda
and
called
it
a
perfect
family
horror
comedy.
He
wrote,
“Mazaaaa
Aa
Gaya!!!
A
perfect
family
comedy
horror!
Congratulations
to
the
whole
team”.
On
the
other
hand,
actress
Rashi
Mal
wrote,
“@aditya_a_sarpotdar
loved
Zombivli
and
loved
KAKUDA!
@riteishd
you
were
fabulous!
#newmancrush
@saqibsaleem
you
were
so
endearing.”

Meanwhile,
talking
about
Kakuda,
Saqib
told
Zoom,
“When
I
read
the
script,
I
felt
like
it’s
extremely
funny
on
paper
and
the
character
was
a
simple
guy
from
a
village
and
I’ve
never
played
a
role
like
this.
After
reading
the
script,
I
went
to
meet
Aditya.
I
thought
he
was
a
very
confident
guy
who
knew
exactly
what
he
wanted
to
do.
So
year,
I
read
the
script
at
night
and
the
next
day
in
the
evening
we
were
doing
the
film.
I
wouldn’t
call
it
a
template
horror
comedy.
I
think
the
folklore
of
the
ghosts
makes
it
far
more
different
from
the
other
films.
You
may
think
that
lots
of
horror
comedies
are
there
but
when
you
watch,
you’ll
find
the
differences”
