Rep. Don Bacon on Sunday warned that “it is potential” that Speaker Mike Johnson may face a vote to oust him if he strikes to cross Ukraine help within the Home.

“I am not going to disclaim it,” Bacon, R-Neb., mentioned when requested by NBC Information’ “Meet the Press” moderator Kristen Welker whether or not it is potential Johnson may lose his speakership over Ukraine help.

“We now have one or two folks that aren’t crew — they are not crew gamers. They’d somewhat benefit from the limelight, the social media,” Bacon added, although he didn’t title any members.

Bacon favors some help for Ukraine and highlighted his partnership with Reps. Jared Golden, D-Maine, Brian Fitzpatrick, R-Pa., and Ed Case, D-Hawaii, on a Ukraine help invoice.
