Ishaan Khatter has been in the news due to his rumoured relationship with the Malaysian model Chandni Bainz. It was only earlier this month that the reports broke that Ishaan is now dating Chandni after his breakup with his ex-girlfiend and Khaali Peeli co-star Ananya Panday last year. The rumoured couple have been tight lipped about their relationship so far.

Ishaan and Chandni, who is currently looking for her first major break in the Hindi film industry, made their first public appearance together when they were seen exiting the engagement party of their friend Ojas Deasi on Friday night. The Phone Bhoot actor helped his rumoured girlfriend to walk down the stairs and made her sit in their car before he himself posed for the paparazzi. 

The engagement bash was also attended by Ishaan’s brother Shahid Kapoor, and the couple Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani. Photos and pictures from the event, shared by the celebrity paparazzo Viral Bhayani on his Instagram handle, went viral on social media.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ishaan Khatter is awaiting the release of the war drama Pippa, which is inspired by the true events during the 1971 Indo-Pak War and is based on the memoir The Burning Chaffees written by Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta. The film also stars Mrunal Thakur, Priyanshu Painyuli and Alia Bhatt’s mother Soni Razdan in the leading roles.

Announced on the apt occasion of 76th Independence Day, i.e. August 15 last year, the film was scheduled to release on December 2, 2023, but was postponed. No update has been shared by the producers, RSVP Movies and Roy Kapur Films, since then about the Raja Krishna Menon directorial.
