Honor has officially marked its comeback to the Indian market with the release of the Honor 90 5G. To recall, the Honor 90 5G and Honor 90 Pro 5G were unveiled in China earlier this year, although only the vanilla model makes it way to India.

The Honor 90 5G arrives as a premium mid-range smartphone with a Snapdragon chipset, a high-res camera, a curved OLED display, and a large battery with fast charging support.

The Honor 90 5G price in India starts from Rs 37,999 for the base 8GB/256GB model. Moreover, the phone also comes in a 12GB/512GB configuration that will set you back Rs 39,999. The Honor 90 5G comes in Emerald Green, Midnight Black, and Diamond Silver colours.

Honor is offering a discount of Rs 3,000 using HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank credit, debit, and EMI transactions. Additionally, customers can also get an extra Rs 2,000 off on exchange, while No Cost EMI payment options will be available starting from Rs 1,299 per month.

Customers who purchase the Honor 90 5G during the first sale on September 18 will be eligible for a free pair of TWS earbuds worth Rs 5,000 and a 30-day phone replacement. The Honor 90 5G sale in India will take place via Amazon as well as Reliance and other mainline stores.

Honor 90 5G Specifications

The Honor 90 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. Additionally, up to 7GB of unused storage can be utilised as virtual RAM. The Honor 90 5G runs Android 13-based MagicOS 7.1. The Honor 90 5G packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 66W fast charging support.

For optics, the Honor 90 5G gets a triple-camera setup on the back with a 200 MP primary sensor, a 12 MP ultrawide unit, and a 2 MP depth sensor. Up front, the handset opts for a 50 MP selfie camera. The Honor 90 5G also comes with dual-stereo speakers and an in-display fingerprint reader.

The Honor 90 5G sports a 6.7 Quad-Curved Floating AMOLED display with a resolution of 2664 x 1200 pixels. The panel boats a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, supports HDR, and boasts a peak brightness of 1,600 nits. The Honor 90 5G’s screen also features a 120Hz refresh rate.

It features the industry-first 0 Risk Eye-Comfort Display boasting the highest and safest 3840Hz PWM Dimming technology. Moreover, the panel also features a TUV Rheinland flicker-free certification, a DXOMARK Display rating of 140, and the DXOMARK 2023 Gold Display certification.
