Stabilo-highlighter brights dominated the spring/summer 2021 shows. Determined to not let the news cycle dampen their creative flair, designers presented a vivid display of paintbox shades in every fashion city. There was one particular tone that stood out: zingy green. 

Versace’s showcased a flippy pleated mini in this season’s most-eye-catching colour. Elsewhere, Victoria Beckham pepped up her pared-back lookbook of camel, chocolate and cream with zesty lime flared trousers. While taffeta creations by Molly Goddard also featured the hottest hue. 

And now, several months on from the spring/summer 2021 shows, Hailey Bieber has pledged her commitment to the colour of the season with a duo of bright green Bottega goods introduced on Instagram. Styled with a grey tracksuit and Nike Air Force 1s, the supermodel showed off BV’s Mini Jodie bag and a matching racing-green padded gilet. “Ur the cutest person I have ever laid eyes on,” said her husband Justin Bieber in the comment box.

A known super fan of the Italian luxury fashion brand – see also Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Rihanna and Dua Lipa – Hailey will no doubt be one of the first in line to get her hands on Daniel Lee’s highly-anticipated Salon 1 drop. Yesterday, photographs from the October show finally emerged, featuring an arsenal of knitted accessories that will no doubt go viral in the coming months. 

Follow-ups to The Pouch clutch were seen in lemon, blue and scarlet, while Lee presented plenty more apple-green pieces for Bieber to continue her green streak well into new year.
