A fire erupted early on Saturday at a chemical storage facility within Tata Electronics Pvt Ltd’s electronics component factory in Krishnagiri district, police reported. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were recorded. Seven fire engines from Hosur and nearby areas were deployed to extinguish the blaze, which took several hours to control.
Police sources revealed that around 11 workers near the site experienced suffocation and were taken to the Government General Hospital. Of these, nine have been discharged after receiving outpatient treatment, while two remain under medical care but are expected to be released soon.

A senior official from the Hosur Fire Station confirmed there were no injuries or fatalities. The fire broke out at approximately 6 am in the chemical godown on the factory premises. Tata Electronics Pvt Ltd assured that all employees are safe and that an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire.
“There has been an unfortunate incident of fire at our plant in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. Our emergency protocols at the plant ensured that all our employees are safe.
