Known to be a performer who has his comic streak and timing in place, actor Aamir Ali is all set to return to the comedy genre in the webspace, this time with a special appearance in Zee5’s upcoming web show ‘Black Widows’.

Aamir will be seen playing the role of ‘Eddie’, a charming, funny, and gullible guy who is set to win hearts for his goofy and humorous portrayal on the show.

Speaking about what he is going to do differently in his second web show of the year, Aamir told DNA, “Eddie is a funloving, gullible, innocent guy who has a very funny side to him. He has a good sense of humour, he is cute, he has a chocolate boy charm and he is a very understanding person.”

He further added, “I still remember laughing over the phone when I was being narrated the role of Eddie, which actually happened while I was shooting for Naxalbari which was an extremely intense drama, so that was when I decided I had to take up this character to explore the light and funny side in the web world. Eddie is going to win the hearts of the audience with his goofiness, cuteness, and innocence. I am sure that they are going to enjoy watching this side of me on screen as much as I enjoyed playing the role.”

On the other hand, Aamir Ali is gearing up for his web show titled Naxalbari. The series is a ZEE5 original and also stars Rajeev Khandelwal and Tinaa Dattaa in pivotal roles.

Talking about Naxalbari, Aamir had stated, “As I was portraying a character like Keshwani for the first time in my career, I wanted to do it differently and feel different. Before Naxalbari, I had never done workshops for any of the characters I played, a director friend of mine recommended that I prepare myself properly before entering the show, and it really did help a lot.”
