Ever since she was spotted exiting a restaurant with Ibrahim Ali Khan last year, there have been rumours that actress Palak Tiwari is dating Saif Ali Khan’s son, an aspiring actor himself. While Palak has denied these reports, her father – actor Raja Chaudhary – seemed to confirm them in a recent interview.

Palak is the daughter of Raja and actress Shweta Tiwari. Her parents were married from 1998-2007 following which Shweta raised her as a single mother. Palak has now reconnected with her father in recent years.

In an interview with Tellychakkar, Raja addressed Palak and Ibrahim’s relationship rumours withut actually confirming or denying them. “Is time par na baccho ko decision apna lene ki power aa jati hai (At this time, kids get the power to make their own decisions themselves). Whatever they feel good, I am happy with it. She is happy I am happy. She is sad I am sad,” said the actor.
Raja also praised his ex-wife Shweta for handling Palak’s upbringing while balancing her acting career. “Isse achi upbringing or kaun dega (Who can give a better upbringing) being a busy mother, single mother. Toh jisne jo kaam acha kiya toh kehna hi chahiye (When she has done a good job, she must be praised). She did a good job,” he said.

Raja Chaudhary worked with Shweta in Bhojpuri film Saiyyan Hamar Hindustani in the 90s. The two tied the knot in 1998 when Shweta was 18 and Raja 23. They separated a few years later and divroced in 2007 amid allegations of domestic abuse against Raja. Shweta married Abhinav Kohli in 2013 but that married ended in 2019. She has a son Reyansh from the second marriage.

Palak, 23, made her Bollywood debut earlier this year with Salman Khan-starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The film was not a success at the box office despite a good start.
