Major areas of Karnataka state will face between 7 to 8 hours of power outages due to a series of work carried out by the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM). From October 11th to 12th, BESCOM is carrying out reconnection work under the 66/11 kV substation, while it has announced power outages till October 31 in districts like Tumkur and surrounding areas.

Bengaluru Power Cut On October 11 & 12:

BESCOM announced that the work of re-connection of AB cable of F5 Srinivasapura line coming under 66/11KV sub-station will be taken up from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Affected Areas: Accordingly, there will be power outage on the 17 Kollur and F8 Kotapalli routes during these days. BESCOM has asked all customers of this route to cooperate.

Bescom Power Cut On October 13 & October 14:

Due to link line work being carried out in Nagarghatta and Narasikatte substations, there will be power disruptions from 10 am to 6 pm on October 13 and October 14, as per BESCOM.

Affected Areas: According to BESCOM there will be power outages in various areas including Hedagarahalli, Belagarahalli, Kannughatta, Nagarghatta, N Melanahalli which fall under the jurisdiction of the said substations.

Bescom Power Cut Till October 31st:

BESCOM is carrying feeder maintenance work in its sub-division 1 area, and hence there will be intermittent power outages from 10 am to 5 pm in various locations.

Power Outages Affected Areas On October 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25, 27, 29 and 31:

Areas like Hanumantapura, Annetota, Jagannathapura, Nirvani Layout, Agnibanniraya Nagar, BA Gudipalya and Ambedkar Nagar are likely to face power outages.

Power Cut Affected Areas On October 12, 14, 16, 18, 24, 26, 28, and 30:

Locations like Govindnagar, Housing Board, Gubbigate, Kuntammanthota, Dibburu, BH Palya, Honnenahall Road, Haronahalli Road, PNR Palya, Kuppur, Hosahalli and surrounding areas.
