Ahead of Animal teaser, the character poster of Anil Kapoor from the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer was released, and it went viral on the internet.
Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming actioner Animal has already created enough buzz among moviegoers. The makers have hyped the anticipation further by launching the poster of Anil Kapoor. On Thursday, Anil Kapoor was introduced as Animal aka Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Baap’.
Ahead of the teaser release, Anil shared the poster of his character Balbir Singh, who’s injured and has bandages on his chest and near stomach. Yet, he looked lethal. Anil shared the post on his Instagram, and wrote in the caption, “Animal Ka Baap…Balbir Singh.”

As soon as the actor shared the poster, it went viral instantly. Several actors commented on Anil’s look. Saswatta Chatterjee wrote, “Looking forward sir.” Harshvardhan Kapoor dropped raising hands and fire emojis. Karan Boolani dropped cool emoji. Bhumi Pednekar dropped raising hands emojis.
Three days ago, the production house T-Series Films unveiled Animal’s new poster in which Kapoor is exuding his swag and style while smoking a cigarette. The film’s teaser date has also been announced as September 28, coinciding with the Tamasha actor’s 41st birthday.
“He is elegant…He is Wild…You will see his rage on September 28th”, the caption to the poster read. Ranbir’s new look from the film has gone viral on social media with many fans saying that they can’t wait to watch their beloved superstar in his raw and intense look in Sandeep Reddy Vanga film.
Apart from Ranbir, Animal features Bobby Deol, Triptii Dimri and Rashmika Mandanna in prominent roles. Earlier, Parineeti Chopra was signed as the leading lady but she left the film for Imtiaz Ali and Diljit Dosanjh’s Amar Singh Chamkila, the biopic of the late Punjabi singer of the same name, releasing on Netflix in 2024.
Animal was earlier slated to release on August 11 clashing with Sunny Deol’s patriotic drama Gadar 2 and Akshay Kumar’s satirical comedy OMG 2, but was postponed due to delay in its post-production. Animal will have a pan-India release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam on December 1.
