An Apple co-founder enters the private space sector with a mystery project.

Steve Wozniak, one of Apple’s co-founders, has revealed that he will be launching a new company in the private space industry.

The Apple co-founder is widely regarded as one of the forefathers of the now-dominant personal computing business, and with a new company called Privateer Space, he will now enter the expanding private space market. Wozniak announced the news on his own Twitter account, along with a video that reveals very little about the company.

The only information we have about Privateer is that it will be “unlike the others” which appears to be a reference to the other high-profile space companies such as SpaceX, Blue Origin, and Virgin Galactic. According to RT, Wozniak’s new company will focus on cleaning up space debris left by previous companies’ launches. All that is certain is that more information regarding Privateer Space will be revealed at the AMOS Tech 2021 conference, which begins next Tuesday.
