After Shah Rukh Khan, Jawan director Atlee wishes to work with these two stars: ‘I am waiting for…’

Jawan’s director Atlee disclosed his plans of collaborating with the ‘biggest stars of the country’.

With action drama Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan has again hit out of the park. Since the release of Jawan, the director of the film, Atlee Kumar has been the talk of the town. The director is enjoying giving success interviews and even disclosed that he’s been in talks with Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Hrithik Roshan and Ranbir Kapoor.

In an interview with ETimes, Atlee expressed his interest in his next collaboration. After working with Shah Rukh Khan, Atlee is waiting to collaborate with Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor first. He said that everyone loved his craft and his team’s vision. This makes him intrigued about working with the biggest stars in the country. Atlee further said, “The good news is, God has to bless you. God’s blessing to me is a good script and a good idea. So, once it is taking place, then other steps would be easy. I am also waiting for a good script to get locked to work with Salman sir and Ranbir sir.”

In another interview, Atlee shared his plans for the sequel Jawan 2 and also talked about why he didn’t ask Thalapathy Vijay, with whom he has given three successive blockbusters – Theri, Mersal, and Bigil, for a cameo in Jawan, which was rumoured after a photo of Atlee, SRK, and Vijay went viral from the film’s sets.
Talking to Pinkvilla, the director said, “Every film of mine has an open end but to date, I have never thought of doing a sequel to any of my films. For Jawan, if anything strong comes to me, I will make a part two. I have kept an open end and I can come up with a sequel now or later. But definitely will come up with a sequel to Jawan one day.”

Released on September 7, Jawan has earned more than Rs 800 crores worldwide, and it is on its way to breaking Pathaan’s lifetime business.
