Ahead of next summer’s release, here we get our first look at Disney-Pixar‘s Cars 3. Brian Fee, a storyboard artist on the first two Cars films, has been tapped to direct the latest installment, which stars Owen Wilson, Larry the Cable Guy, Bonnie Hunt and Cheech Wilson.

The nearly 50-second teaser in turn centers around shots of various race cars, as McQueen’s No. 95 automobile ultimately ends up tumbling across the race track with parts flying everywhere. After being forced out of the sport he loves, Lightning McQueen will need the help of an eager young race technician, Cruz Ramirez, in order to get back into the game.

Cars 3 is scheduled to open in 3D in U.S. theaters on June 16, 2017.
